The Sax icon puts a person on the plot. It shows who stands where, which is the first thing anyone reads on a plot, and a crew scanning the page reads the human shapes before anything else on it.
Place it, rotate it, and give it a label that matches the language your crew already uses. The export keeps all of it.
Stage position is the thing that gets argued about at load in, so it is worth drawing accurately. Performer figures sit on the downstage line for front of band positions and further upstage for the rhythm section, spaced the way the band actually works. If the room forces a compromise, move the icon and export again. A fresh PDF is cheap; an argument at load in is not.
One thing worth writing down. Match figure count to the contracted band size. A plot that shows eight people against a booking for six starts a conversation nobody wants on show day.
Sax is not an audio source, so it adds no rows to the input list. It is there to make the drawing accurate: it shows who stands where, which is the first thing anyone reads on a plot, and the channel count stays clean because nothing silent is padding it out.
