What this template covers

This 49 by 41 foot layout is based on a real concert production combining a full amplified band with chamber orchestra. Drums, grand piano, keys, orchestral percussion and upright bass occupy the upstage zone. Four curved string rows wrap around the conductor, while the featured guitar, acoustic instrument, solo violin, bass and vocal line spans the downstage edge.

Audio and monitor notes

Each seated string player creates a distinct close-mic input, supplemented by a stereo orchestra main pair. The amplified section adds a fully mic'd kit, stereo piano and keys, percussion, basses, guitars and two vocals. Six IEM positions keep band monitoring out of the acoustic orchestra and reduce spill into the string microphones.

Customize it

Edit the string rows for your actual section counts, remove individual string channels when using section mics only, and change the featured front-line instruments to match the artist. The deep centre aisle and conductor sightline should remain clear.
