Where it goes on stage
A plot earns its keep by settling positions before anyone opens a case. Horn sections sit in a shallow arc upstage of the front line. Bowed strings sit seated, usually stage left, with enough clearance for bow arms. Anything unusual about the position belongs in the plot notes, so the drawing carries its own explanation.
What the crew needs to know
Worth confirming in the advance. Confirm phantom power availability on the console. Condenser channels fail silently when it is switched off, which wastes soundcheck time.
On the input list
Banjo (Strings & Wind) produces one channel on the input list, defaulting to a DI input, no stand and 48V phantom power switched on. It sorts at position 7 in the drums first, vocals last channel order that front of house engineers expect. Change any of it per plot; the default just means you rarely have to.
Console exports
Channel names travel with the plot. Export a scene file for an X32, M32, or Wing, or a channel name CSV for dLive, Avantis, SQ, DiGiCo, and Yamaha CL and QL. See the console guides.
