Where it goes on stage
Put it where it will really stand, not where it is convenient to draw. Horn sections sit in a shallow arc upstage of the front line. Bowed strings sit seated, usually stage left, with enough clearance for bow arms. Stageplot Pro keeps every icon to scale, so the spacing you draw is the spacing the crew builds.
What the crew needs to know
The detail that saves a phone call. Confirm phantom power availability on the console. Condenser channels fail silently when it is switched off, which wastes soundcheck time.
On the input list
Trumpet (Strings & Wind, No. 028) produces one channel on the input list, defaulting to a Condenser input, a boom stand and 48V phantom power switched on. It sorts at position 7 in the drums first, vocals last channel order that front of house engineers expect. Change any of it per plot; the default just means you rarely have to.
Console exports
Channel names travel with the plot. Export a scene file for an X32, M32, or Wing, or a channel name CSV for dLive, Avantis, SQ, DiGiCo, and Yamaha CL and QL. See the console guides.
