Projector + Stand Stage Plot Icon

The Projector + Stand icon tells the production team that this video element is part of the show. On the plot it reserves upstage space and documents the signal feed the venue has to supply, which is information the venue needs long before the truck arrives.

Place it, rotate it, and give it a label that matches the language your crew already uses. The export keeps all of it.

Using the Projector + Stand icon on a stage plot

Where it goes on stage

Stage position is the thing that gets argued about at load in, so it is worth drawing accurately. Walls and screens sit upstage of the band and raised where possible, so the top of the picture clears the drum riser and the heads in front of it. If the room forces a compromise, move the icon and export again. A fresh PDF is cheap; an argument at load in is not.

What the crew needs to know

One thing worth writing down. Confirm the source and the connector for every feed. Video is where most show day signal problems begin.

On the input list

Projector + Stand is not an audio source, so it adds no rows to the input list. It is there to make the drawing accurate: it reserves upstage space and documents the signal feed the venue has to supply, and the channel count stays clean because nothing silent is padding it out.

Console exports

Because the input list is generated rather than typed, it exports straight to console: X32 and M32 scene files, Wing scenes, and CSV channel names for the Allen and Heath, DiGiCo, and Yamaha families. See the console guides.
