Every plot has a moment where somebody asks "what plugs in where". The Female XLR to 1 4" (No. 004) icon settles it on paper: it documents the connector or run the crew has to supply.
Drag it onto the canvas, resize it, rename the label, and it lands in the exported PDF exactly where you left it.
Where it sits on the deck changes how the rest of the plot reads. Cable icons usually sit beside the gear they serve rather than on a fixed part of the deck, close enough that the pairing is obvious in print. Snap the icon to the grid and the distances stay believable on a printed page.
Say this part explicitly. Adapters are the items most often missed in a truck pack. Drawing them is what makes them countable.
Female XLR to 1 4" (No. 004) is not an audio source, so it adds no rows to the input list. It is there to make the drawing accurate: it documents the connector or run the crew has to supply, and the channel count stays clean because nothing silent is padding it out.
