Audio crews read a stage plot backwards, from the console out to the stage. The Stagebox 32ch icon fixes the point every input cable on stage has to reach, so that read finishes without a phone call.
Position it, scale it, duplicate it for a second player, and the input list follows along without a rebuild.
A plot earns its keep by settling positions before anyone opens a case. Boxes sit upstage left or upstage right against the wall, out of the walking route and close to the heaviest cluster of inputs. Anything unusual about the position belongs in the plot notes, so the drawing carries its own explanation.
Worth confirming in the advance. Give the channel count of the box. Stageplot Pro expands a snake icon into its own numbered channel rows on the input list.
Stagebox 32ch is not an audio source, so it adds no rows to the input list. It is there to make the drawing accurate: it fixes the point every input cable on stage has to reach, and the channel count stays clean because nothing silent is padding it out.
