Every plot has a moment where somebody asks "what plugs in where". The DI Stereo (No. 004) icon settles it on paper: it marks a point where the crew has to land power or a direct feed.
Drag it onto the canvas, resize it, rename the label, and it lands in the exported PDF exactly where you left it.
Where it sits on the deck changes how the rest of the plot reads. Power drops sit upstage of the performer and out of walking lines. Direct boxes sit at the player's feet so the instrument cable stays short and the noise floor stays low. Snap the icon to the grid and the distances stay believable on a printed page.
Say this part explicitly. Count these before you send the plot. A missing quad box is one of the most common reasons a load in stalls, and it is trivially avoidable on paper.
DI Stereo (No. 004) is not an audio source, so it adds no rows to the input list. It is there to make the drawing accurate: it marks a point where the crew has to land power or a direct feed, and the channel count stays clean because nothing silent is padding it out.
